Emergency crews in Marion County responded to the scene of an accident on Thursday night, where a vehicle went 100 feet over an embankment, according to 911 officials.

Marion County 911 said it happened around 9:45 p.m. on Tulip Lane in Pleasant Valley.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department said the vehicle was headed from Heston Farm toward Pleasant Valley when it went over the embankment. Valley Fire Department rescued the vehicle's driver and a passenger.

Both were taken by ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital. HealthNet was unavailable due to weather, but 911 officials said its ground unit did take one of the patients to Ruby. The other was transported by the Marion County Rescue Squad.

The sheriff's department is investigating. No word on the victims' names or extent of injuries.
