Two people were arrested on Friday by members of the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force for their involvement in the distribution of controlled substances in the Bridgeport and Clarksburg areas.
William "Billy" Crayton II was arrested and charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana to an undercover police officer in the Bridgeport area, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
John Ramsey was arrested and charged with four counts of distributing oxycodone during an undercover operation in the Clarksburg area.
Crayton and Ramsey are currently in the North Central Regional Jail.
The Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force has obtained warrants and is currently seeking several people for their involvement in the distribution of prescription pills and heroin, according to the police department.
