BLUEFIELD, WV – The Grammy-nominated and highly-acclaimed bluegrass band Blue Highway will perform 7 p.m. Aug. 31 in the historic Granada Theater in Bluefield as part of the Lemonade Festival.

The Bluefield Preservation Society is presenting the inaugural Lemonade Festival – a day-long celebration of Bluefield's long-standing lemonade promotion.

The Granada Theater is located on Commerce Street in downtown Bluefield. The concert is sponsored by Bill Cole Auto Mall, Cole Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, and Cole Harley-Davidson. Tickets are $40 for priority seating and $25 for general admission.

Blue Highway has produced 10 albums and captured numerous awards since it first took the stage on Dec. 31, 1994.

It still consists of the original members: Jason Burleson (banjo, guitar, mandolin), Rob Ickes (dobro), Shawn Lane (mandolin, fiddle, vocals), Tim Stafford (guitar, vocals), and Wayne Taylor (bass, vocals) are masters of their respective roles.

Blue Highway has garnered two Grammy nominations, a Dove Award, topped the Bluegrass Unlimited radio charts, and won numerous International Bluegrass Music Association awards.
