CLARKSBURG, WV (AP) — Dominion plans to move its office in downtown Clarksburg a couple of miles east to a business park in Bridgeport.

Dominion vice president Jeff Barger tells The Exponent Telegram that nearly 300 jobs will be moved to a new facility at the White Oaks business park.

He says the new building will help the company attract and retain top employees.

The move is expected to occur in 2015.

White Oaks developer Woody Thrasher says the move will create several hundred construction jobs.

Local officials say they're glad that Virginia-based Dominion is staying in Harrison County.
