Grand Jury Indicts Former Webster County Firefighter on Arson Charges

A Webster County grand jury has indicted 19 people including a former volunteer firefighter on arson charges.

Former Erbacon Volunteer Fire Department member Blake Collins was indicted on two counts of first degree arson, two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree arson, one count of fourth degree arson, and one count of conspiracy to commit fourth degree arson. The fires are alleged to have happened at a mobile home, a residence, and in a wooded area in 2012, according to the Webster County Prosecuting Attorney Dwayne Vandevender.

Other people indicted include:

Raymond Burge was indicted on charges including manufacturing marijuana, conspiracy to manufacture marijuana, gross child neglect

Mary Burge was indicted on two counts of gross child neglect.

Thomas Mcie and Howard Fisher were indicted for operating a clandestine meth lab and conspiracy to operate a clandestine meth lab.

Michael Gillespie was indicted for breaking and entering into Glade Elementary School in April 2013 and larceny for removing three digital recorders and two computers from the school.

William Lee Earls was indicted on one count of sexual abuse in the first degree with a 4-year-old victim and one count of sex abuse by parent, guardian or custodian.

Patrick Lyke and Megan Lyke were indicted on a count of entering without breaking into the Webster County Probation Office with the intent to steal drug screens and for stealing the drug screens, along with one count each of conspiracy to commit that crime.

Brad Chaffin was indicted on one count of delivery of meth, possession with intent to deliver meth, operating a clandestine meth lab, and conspiracy to deliver meth.

Laurie Ward aka Laurie Mccourt was indicted on charges of delivery of meth, possession with intent to deliver meth, and conspiracy to deliver meth.

Burton McCourt was indicted for conspiracy to operate meth lab, operating a meth lab, two counts of child neglect, and possession of precursors to produce meth.

Laura Wisener was indicted for operating a clandestine lab, conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug lab, and child neglect.

Coriana Christian was indicted on child neglect charges.

Christopher Keffer was indicted on one count of manufacturing marijuana, one count of possession of marijuana, two counts of child neglect, and one count of threatening communications by computer. Keffer posted comments under his Topix forum alias "Would Change" that he would like to see all law enforcement die and that he would like to see the judges get capped, according to a criminal complaint from state police.

David Greene was indicted on one count of operating a meth lab and one count of attempt to manufacture marijuana.

Jeremy Bender, Jason Flora and Tonie Brown were each indicted on one count of daytime burglary for entering a residence of Richard Tracy, one count of conspiracy to commit daytime burglary, one count of petit larceny for stealing a shotgun from the residence, one count of the daytime burglary of Sheriff David Bender's residence, and one count of conspiracy.

Ricky Bankhead was indicted on charges of conspiracy to operate a meth lab and operating a meth lab.

April Cochran was indicted on charges of conspiracy to operate a meth lab, operating a meth lab, operating a meth lab, and possession of precursors.
