The Morgantown Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened just before 4 a.m. on High Street, Sunday, September 8.

According to a press release, the victim stated that the man pointed a gun against his back and demanded money from him. The man forced the victim to withdraw cash from an ATM on High Street and then fled the area on foot.

The man was described as a black male with dreadlocks, wearing a blue striped shirt, and a black and white bandana. Morgantown police said it had a suspect early Sunday morning, but he was not positively identified by the victim.
