The inaugural Homebrewers Against Hunger event will be held October 5 at the Fairmont Field Club in Fairmont.
The event will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Come out an enjoy a sampling of local, home-brewed beers at Homebrewers Against Hunger, sponsored in part by the Fairmont Field Club, the Fairmont Homebrewers Club, and Chestnut Brew Works.
All proceeds go directly to funding local food banks in the Marion County area. Food will be available on-site and live music will also be provided by local artists during the event.
Attendees must be 21 years or older to sample. Admission is $15 for the three-hour session and includes a sampling cup and 10 beer tickets for 10 four ounce samples. Additional sampling tickets, up to five, can be purchased for $1 each or by a canned food donation.
Designated drivers are admitted free with a canned food donation.
