Students in grades nine through 12 are eligible for the program if they attend a city school, including Notre Dame High School, Liberty High School, Robert C. Byrd High School, Emmanuel Christian High School, or if a student is home-schooled and resides in the Clarksburg city limits.

The youth council will participate in community service projects, learn about how city departments operate, and interact with government officials.

Applications will be accepted through October 4. Applications are available at all city schools listed above or at the Clarksburg City Clerk's office.

Completed applications should be returned to the student's school or sent directly to the City Clerk at 222 West Main Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
