West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics has partnered with its school of public health to create a dual degree program combining business with public health, the university recently announced.

The dual degree program, which consists of 74 credit hours, provides students an opportunity to receive two degrees in two years – a master of business administration and master of public health.

According to the university's news release, students start their public health studies in their first year and then enroll in the MBA portion their second year.

After students complete their MBA studies, they will apply their public health and business knowledge in an internship environment, the news release continues.
