Michael Tarpeh Pleads Guilty to Malicious Assault, Grand Larceny Charges

Michael Tarpeh has pleaded guilty to malicious assault and grand larceny in connection to an incident dating back to last February.

Tarpeh drove a woman home from a party in Morgantown, choked and physically hurt her, and stole her laptop and several purses.

Attorneys said he'll serve two to 10 years for malicious assault and six months for grand larceny.

Tarpeh will remain in the North Central Regional Jail until his sentencing.
