Clayton Collins Sentenced in Connection to 2012 Beating Death of West Union Man

[image] Clayton Collins was sentenced to 46 to 50 years in prison, with credit for time already served for his involvement in the death of TJ Blankenship.

Judge J. Lewis Marks Jr. sentenced a man who pleaded guilty to second degree murder in connection to the death of a West Union man.

Clayton Collins was sentenced to 46 to 50 years in prison, with credit for time already served for his involvement in the death of TJ Blankenship.

Collins pleaded guilty in August to second-degree murder and concealment of a body. Collins and William Murray beat Blankenship with a wrench in January 2012 and buried his body in Barbour County.

A jury convicted Murray in July for his part in the murder.
