The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed a new business Tuesday.

The chamber held a ribbon cutting for Twisted Salon on Route 19 in Jane Lew.

A representative from Governor Earl Ray Tomblin's office also delivered a proclamation from the governor.

Twisted Solon's owners said they're excited to open in an area growing as much as Jane Lew.

"There's a new restaurant in town, there's a new hardware store, all of the business down in the industrial park, it's a really popular place. Business is coming to Jane Lew, and we wanted to be a part of that," said Angela Batten, of Twisted Salon.

The salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 304-918-8111 or visit the salon's Facebook page.
