A man was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital early Wednesday morning after an ATV accident in Marion County.
The Farmington Volunteer Fire Department said the man didn't navigate a turn correctly on Rachel Road just outside of Farmington, and went off a steep hill.
He was laying in the woods for nearly five hours before he was found, according to the Farmington VFD.
Firefighters said they had to vertically rescue the man due to the steepness of the slope. He was semi-coherent once he was in the ambulance, complaining of neck and back pain, the fire department said.
The Marion County Rescue Squad transported the man to the Idamay Baseball Fields where HealthNet then transported him to Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to the Farmington VFD.
There is no word on his name or condition.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department, the Barrackville Volunteer Fire Department, and the Mannington Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
