Original Story:

Officials in Webster County shut down Route 20 Thursday afternoon after a tractor trailer crashed into a bridge.

Webster County 911 said it happened around 4:15 p.m. in the Baker's Island area of Webster Springs.

The truck was carrying sawdust, which ended up in the Elk River, along with part of the truck, according to 911 officials.

Officials said the driver was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The Webster County Sheriff's Department, Webster Springs police, state police, the Webster Springs Fire Department, Webster Springs EMS, and the Office of Emergency Services all responded to the scene.
