It's only been open for about three months, but the Main Street Cafe and Grill in Jane Lew is already making a name for itself. Businesses from around the area are already coming by for lunches, but one area's been a big source of support for Stephanie Hamrick's new restaurant.

"It's been great. Our lunches are fantastic. We're busy with the industrial park, and we are so happy for the support that we've been given. We are open for dinner also, but our lunches have just been great," Hamrick said.

Hamrick and her husband wanted to kick the average meat-and-potatoes fare up a notch, so here you'll find fresh food that's never frozen on the menu, and often in meals you wouldn't expect.

"A lot of people come in and try something new every week. They've not eaten the same things twice, because they love the variety on our menu," Hamrick said.

The Main Street Cafe's already attracted some faithful regulars in just the first few months it's been open. Sharon Shearer and her husband come by the restaurant a few times a week. And when it comes to picking a favorite? That's easier said than done.

"This sandwich that I'm having today is just delicious, the chicken and bacon with ranch dressing on the flatbread, it's good, so it's hard to really say," Shearer said.

There's something for everyone to try at the Main Street Cafe and Grill, and Hamrick hopes that people will feel welcome to try it all.

"It's a good clean atmosphere, and you can just come and hang out, people stay, eat dessert, they come in just for dessert and coffee, but mainly it's just come in and hang out and see us and try something new," said Hamrick.

You'll find the Main Street Café and Grill on Main Street in Jane Lew and here on Facebook. It's open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.  Call them for more information at 304-805-2055.
