A Lewis County salon is taking up a cause for its one-year anniversary.

In addition to an anniversary ribbon cutting, the Transformation Salon in Weston held its own breast cancer awareness fundraiser Friday.

Salon employees sold hot dog lunches and T-shirts, as well as raffle tickets for gift baskets.

It's a cause they said is important to many employees.

"It's a little bit close to a lot of our hearts here, because we have several people that work here that have had people close to them who have had breast cancer," said Brandi Losh, of Transformation Salon.

The salon is still selling raffle tickets in-store until Halloween.
