Davis and Elkins dedicated a pair of athletic facilities this weekend.
Saturday the college dedicated it's new soccer field, Nuttall Field to Alumni and Trustee Bill Nuttall.
Nutall and Hank Steinbrecher led the committee that raised $600,000 needed to install the turf field.
D&E President Emeritus G.T. ‘Buck' Smith said Nutall was a symbol of dedication and teamwork during the project.
A plaque at the field reads:"Nuttall Field is dedicated to the glory of God and in gratitude for the generous spirit of those who made it possible."
"I'm humbled, honored and undeserving," Nuttall said.
The field will also house D&E lacrosse.
On Friday the college dedicated it's pool, after its roof collapsed in the spring of 2012.
The school raised more than $900,000 to replace the Hermanson Center's roof.
The pool was named after former Elkins' businessman George A. Myles.
