Two men are behind bars after the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department arrested them on drug charges.
Jason Hawthorne and Craig Grimes were taken into custody after deputies found a large quantity of drugs in their possession on Lower Aarons Creek Road, according to the sheriff's department.
When deputies responded to a call regarding an illegal burn, the sheriff's department said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Upon obtaining a search warrant, deputies also found 90 grams of crack, 30 grams of meth, 15 grams of heroin, and $2800 in cash, according to the sheriff's department.
Hawthorne and Grimes are in the North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $125,000 and $100,000, respectively.
