One person was transported to United Hospital Center in Harrison County following a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 79 Wednesday.
The accident occurred just after 11:30 a.m. at mile marker 122 on I-79 in Harrison County, according to Harrison County 911.
According to Bridgeport police, a red Honda was traveling northbound on I-79 when it lost control, went into a median, and rolled over into a culvert between the north and southbound lanes.
A female driver had to be extricated from the car and was transported by ambulance to UHC, police said. There's no word on the victim's name or extent of injuries.
The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating.
