According to Harrison County 911 officials, the silver alert issued for a Harrison County man Thursday has been canceled. Officials said Edward Earl Richards has been located.

West Virginia State Police have issued a silver alert for a Harrison County man.

Edward Earl Richards, 70, was last seen dropping his wife off from work during the morning hours at the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport.

Richards was driving a 1999 black Ford Econoline van, with the license plate 8LE219. His direction of travel is unknown. Richards is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 230 lbs., with hazel colored eyes and gray hair. He has a scar on his chest, according to state police.

Richards has a concealed carry permit and is known to carry a semi-automatic handgun. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, white T-shirt, and khaki pants.
