Over the past few months, the Union Mission has collected winter coats for folks in need.

Next Wednesday it will distribute those coats. Mission Director George Batten said anyone who needs a coat can get one, free of charge.

Coats will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis.

"It's important because we are a ministry of caring. its what we do. we want to help people in need and that's what our donors have asked us to do. we are just doing what we're supposed to do," said George Batten, Union Mission director.

The distribution will be held next Wednesday in the Union Mission Auditorium.
