UPDATE: Suspects' names released following bank robbery in Charleston, WV

UPDATE:

Investigators released the names of three suspects in a bank robbery on Monday, Oct. 28. Stephen Spires, 61, of Williamson is charged with bank robbery. Bernice White, 61, of Williamson is charged with accessory to a bank robbery and Sandra Mullins, 39, of Williamson is also charged with accessory to a bank robbery.

West Virginia State Police troopers said they were searching along Route 119 on Monday evening for a note they believe Spires presented to a teller at the bank during the robbery.

Detectives with the Charleston Police Department said the gun used during the robbery was plastic.

Three people are in custody following a bank robbery in Charleston, WV.

The robbery happened at the Chase bank on Washington Street about 2 p.m.  According to the West Virginia State Police, two women and one man are in custody.  Police say they have recovered a vehicle, gun and money believed to be connected to the robbery.

WVSP say they found what they believe to be a plastic gun in the car.

The suspects were pulled over on Airport Road in Logan, WV. According to police, all three suspects are cooperating with police.
