The Bridgeport Police Department responded to a single vehicle rollover near the 122 mile marker on Interstate 79 just after 4 p.m. Monday.
Police said a white Subaru station wagon was heading south on I-79 in the middle lane. The driver of the vehicle attempted to move into the right lane, but saw another vehicle in the lane. The driver then overcorrected and hit the guardrail in the median. According to Bridgeport police, the Subaru landed on its top in the northbound lanes.
Two people were transported by Bridgeport EMS to United Hospital Center, police said. Their names and conditions weren't available, said police.
Two of three northbound lanes were closed following the accident, but have since reopened.
