On Tuesday, Clayton Homes in Elkins celebrated its 22nd annual 'Safe Trick-or-Treat.'

More than 600 kids from surrounding areas came out to participate.

Twenty local businesses sponsored one of the display homes and gave out candy to the kids.

"We get phone calls starting two to three weeks before the event wanting to know if we're having it again and what night and its so strange because I've saw the second generation; I just met a young girl in the parking lot who trick or treated here when she was a kid and she's now here with her daughter and they feel; I've had parents tell me this is the only place where their kids trick or treat," said Judy Ritchie, general manager for Clayton Homes.

Richie said the company is planning on continuing the tradition next year.
