A local businessman has announced he will be running for office in 2014.

Frank "Chunki" Angotti has announced that he will be running for the West Virginia House of Delegates next year.

Angotti said after years of being involved in politics, he wants to try again.

Angotti said there are many issues he is concerned with.

"With what's happening in Washington, I think we need to watch our dollars in West Virginia a little stronger. Marcellus Shale is a huge industry for us, but it doesn't seem like we are capitalizing enough on that industry to be able to put the dollars in the bank to help our seniors, our children, and education," Angotti said.

Angotti, a former Harrison County Commissioner, and State Delegate will be running in the primary election which is in May of 2014.
