Clarksburg held its Veterans Day parade Monday afternoon.

Residents lined the streets of downtown to see the bands, floats, and even some of your favorite news personalities, like Jason Parrish.

The parade also celebrated what Monday is all about: thanking our veterans.

Dozens of people also came out to Grafton Monday, dressed in red and blue, for the annual Veterans Day Parade.

It's not just a day off of school or work, it's a time to give thanks to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and served our country.

The parade was led by the Grafton Police Department and the Taylor County Sheriff's Department.

Some of Grafton's honorable veterans and the Grafton High School marching band also participated in the parade.

A Veterans Day Parade was also held in Fairmont, bringing hundreds of people downtown to give thanks to those who served our country.

Veterans said there is nothing more special then seeing a community come together to support them.

There were dozens of antique cars and floats in the parade, and candy was thrown to the kids who watched from the sidewalks.

Residents waved flags and said thank you to those who served our country.
