Don Nehlen, Mickey Furfari Attend Book Signing at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown

Mon General Hospital invited a few famous faces out for a book signing Thursday.

Former West Virginia University football head coach Don Nehlen and West Virginia sports writing legend Mickey Furfari were just a few authors that signed books for fans.

The Mon General Foundation held the event to celebrate $7.2 million raised for its two year capitol campaign raising money for the hospital.

"Shelly Paul and I wrote a book eight, nine years ago, I suppose. And believe it or not a lot of people showed up to get it autographed. And there is four or five other people here and the turn out has been excellent. So they're going to raise a few dollars for the Mon General Foundation," Nehlen said.

The foundation is raising money to support the $25-million, two year capitol campaign, which supports work in the Orthocath lab, OBGYN, and the endoscopic center.
