WEST LIBERTY, WV -

Three new board members have been appointed to the West Liberty University Foundation. Thomas Reinbold, Cindy Stickley and Will Turani were appointed during the foundation's October meeting.

Reinbold, a Pittsburgh native, graduated from West Liberty in 1970 with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He also was a member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity.

He enjoyed a 31-year career with the consumer products division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, beginning as a sales representative in 1973 and rising up through the ranks to the position of director of sales of national accounts. 

He and his wife, Eileen Reinbold, live in Surprise, Ariz. They were donors for WLU's first graphics art scholarship and funded many improvements in the art department and the Kelly Theatre.

A lifelong educator, administrator and educational consultant, Stickley is a resident of Powell, Ohio. 

Originally from Urbana, Ohio, she graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She earned a master's of education degree from Wright State University.

She taught students with learning disabilities for 10 years in St. Paris, Ohio, and was a learning disabilities consultant for the state of Ohio and worked for 15 years at the Ohio Department of Education.

Stickley was married to Donald L. Pahl Sr., a music professor and WLU alumnus. She developed a WLU music scholarship in his memory.

She has served her community through her work with Habitat for Humanity, homeless education, arts council and farm preservation organizations. 

Turani, a resident of Wheeling, is the director of global operations and sustainability at Orrick. 

Before that, he was Wheeling's city manager for four years and the assistant city manager for four years before that. He also served as the county administrator for Hancock County from 1989 to 1993.

A graduate of West Liberty with a bachelor's of science degree in political science, he earned a master's degree in public administration from West Virginia University.

He has served on the Regional Economic Development Partnership, the Community Foundation of the Upper Ohio Valley, the Belomar Regional Council and the Partners in Education program for Ohio County Schools. 

They join a board led by chairman Les DeFelice that includes WLU President Robin C. Capehart and 24 other members, E. Marc Abraham, Marty Adams, Jason Blair, John Bonassi, Clyde D. Campbell, Louis Cardamone, Joseph W. Carey, David R. Croft, Alfred R. de Jaager, John Dolan, Lynne Exley, James Frum, Susan Hogan, Daniel I. Joseph, Bob Kota, Richard A. Lucas, R. Clark Morton, Norman B. Moyes, Judith Bartell Paesani, E. Alex Paris III, Andrew Pasden, Gary West, Kristina Williams and G. Randolph Worls.
