Grant to Help WVU's Helping Appalachian Parents and Infants Program

A more than $175,000 grant will help West Virginia University's Helping Appalachian Parents and Infants program help you navigate the new affordable care act.

The federal grant allows the program to hire a pair of full-time navigators who are trained to help people through the process.

The service is available to residents of Monongalia, Preston, Barbour, Harrison, Marion, Randolph, Taylor, and Upshur counties.
