Mon Rivers Trail Conservancy Reminds People to Wear Bright Clothing on Rail-Trails

Posted: Updated:

Deer season starts November 25 and wearing blaze orange isn't just for hunters.

The Mon Rivers Trail Conservancy is reminding people who use the rail-trails to wear bright clothes.

The trails are often bordered by private lands where people may be hunting.

State regulations restrict shooting a firearm within 500-feet of the trails, and hunting is prohibited on Sundays in Marion, Monongalia and Preston counties.
