Struck Sunday Evening with wind gusts to 100 MPH.
Lewis County authorities responded to the scene of a fire on Saturday night.
It happened at a home on Trailer Court, outside of Jackson's Mill, just before 11 p.m., according to 911 officials.
Chief Steve Byers of the Jackson's Mill Fire Department said one woman was home at the time of the fire, but she was able to get out safely on her own and was outside when first responders arrived.
Lewis County EMS was on scene but did not take the woman to the hospital, according to Byers.
Fire departments from Jane Lew and Weston were also on scene, as well as the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and state police.
Byers said the cause of the fire was electrical in nature. He said the house is a total loss.
