BRIDGEPORT -

Many stores have made the decision to open their doors at 8 p.m. Thursday night.

Stores like Target, Walmart, and Kohl's said there is a lot that goes into preparing for the rush that awaits them.

Coleman Munoz, Target Human Resources Manager, said everything goes rather smoothly once the doors officially open.

"It's going to be a lot of fun and very safe and organized for the guests to come right in and know exactly where they want to go, Munoz said. "There will be maps and team members helping them to go in the direction they need for the items that they need from the ad."

Target encourages its customers to be patient and help make the night enjoyable for everyone.
