Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Gilmer County Customers on Rt. 47

UPDATE: 

The Boil Water Advisory for the Rt. 47 section of the Gilmer County Public Service has been lifted.

 

 


 

RE-ISSUED:

Due to a NEW waterline break at 9:50 am, the Gilmer County Public Service District has issued a new boil water advisory for the Rt. 47 section of the Troy Line. This will remain in effect until further notice.


UPDATE:

The Boil Water Advisory for the Rt. 47 section of the Gilmer County Public Service District has been lifted.


The Gilmer County Public Service District will be turning off water on Rt. 47 to the end of the line at 3:30 PM for approximately two hours Monday. 

When water services are restored, all of these customers will be under a boil water advisory until further notice.  The advisory is issued due to the tie in being made for the construction of the Leading Creek School.
