The WVU Printmaking Club held an art sale Monday.

The club is a student organization furthering arts in the community and bringing more awareness to printmaking.

Proceeds from the sale will go toward travel costs so the club can go to San Francisco for the 42nd Annual SGC Conference.

It's the biggest annual gathering focused on the field of printmaking.

"It's a great opportunity for students in the club. You get to meet famous printmakers, you get to meet people established in the field, and you get to get your work out there. At the end of the conference there is an open portfolio. So, you have your work critiqued by artists all over the country and the world. It's a really good opportunity and we're trying to raise money for a travel fund so we can get over there," said Alex Martin, a member of the WVU Printmaking Club.

For more information on how to buy prints from the club, check out the club's Facebook page, Tumblr page, or Instagram.
