Families in Lewis County can see Santa close to home this month.

The Jane Lew Lions Club is sponsoring two Santa's Houses.

Santa will be at one location each week to meet kids and give them a chance to give him their letters.

He says it's a good way for him to see kids who can't meet him anywhere else.

"I tell you what, there are a lot of children, this might be the only opportunity they have to see Santa and tell me what they want, and it gives them an opportunity. We also have some goodies for them and some crafts to do, so it's a good thing to come out and visit Santa Claus for a while," Santa said.

Santa will be on Main Street from noon to 3 p.m. in Weston on the 7th and 21st, and in Jane Lew on the 14th. He says he'll personally reply to all the letters kids give him at those events.
