MARION COUNTY -

The Marion County Sheriff's Department arrested a father and son on meth charges Friday night.

Chief Deputy Ralph Wright said detectives received information several days ago that Ronald Moore Jr. and his son, Zak Moore, were cooking meth in their Worthington home.

Chief Deputy Wright said authorities obtained video and audio of the Moore's actually cooking the meth.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for both Ronald Moore and Zak Moore late Friday night.

Ronald Moore was under surveillance and was arrested during a traffic stop. His son, Zak Moore, voluntarily turned himself in and was arrested at the station.

Chief Deputy Wright said State Police were called in to dismantle the meth lab and take it into custody.

Ronald and Zak Moore are being charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.

Both men are being held in the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bond.
