Morgantown police arrested a man early Sunday morning after they responded to a report of a stabbing.

It happened just before 4 a.m. in the area of Fifth Street, according to a press release from Morgantown police.

Police said Kinder Cole Tuckerwiller and another man were involved in an altercation, which led to Tuckerwiller stabbing the man.

EMS took the victim to Ruby Memorial Hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Tuckerwiller is charged with malicious wounding and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
