Several 911 centers across North Central West Virginia reported dozens of vehicle accidents on Sunday morning as a result of the icy, hazardous road conditions.

That crash involved one vehicle on Cleveland Avenue, according to 911 officials, who said one person was trapped inside the vehicle. That person was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital, and another was taken to Fairmont General Hospital.

Marion County 911 said the driver hit a patch of ice and drove off the road.

In Tucker County, one person was injured after a vehicle collision in Tucker County involving a snow truck.

It happened around 9:45 this morning on Route 32 in Davis, according to 911 officials.

Tucker County EMS took the victim to Garrett Memorial Hospital in Maryland. No word on the extent of his or her injuries.

Fire departments from Davis and Canaan Valley also responded to the scene.
