Thousands of toys are being sorted at the Armory on the Mileground in Morgantown this week. Community members are helping sort all of the toys for the Toys for Tots Programs.

Families that qualify for Toys for Tots will be able to pick up toys on Thursday Dec. 12.  Organizations that are helping with the distribution include, The Challenge Academy, 12 Steps, St. Frances De Sales School students, Morgantown Learning Academy, and the Boy and Girl Scouts of America.

The WCLG food drive is also being sorted at the Armory.  The annual food drive has a number of donation centers around Morgantown.  The same distribution date, Dec. 12 is set for those in need to pick up canned and non-perishable food items.

There's still a chance to sign up to receive toys and food.  You need a proof of income, the child or family member's social security number, and photo identification to sign up.
