Activities and achievements: Hannah was awarded the West Virginia Governor's Service Award after she started her own small business making dog treats. Her other community service activities include volunteering for Adopt a Highway, the Clay and Kanawha County summer library programs and the Dolly Parton League of Extraordinary Teens. She does the newsletter for Challenge WV, a statewide small schools advocacy group, and is a volunteer counselor for the Teen Institute Adolescent Health Initiative. She was chosen this year to represent the state's homeschoolers at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Academy. Hannah has been a Girl Scout for nine years and has had two lead roles in productions at the Landmark Studio for the Arts. 

Plans: Hannah will earn her high school diploma at just 15 years of age and with 24 college credits already completed. She plans to attend college next fall and study psychology and theater.
