The money will be used to replace doors of the original 1968 building and install new 2 roof top H-VAC units.
Officials said they're very excited to get the money.
The technical center trains students from Upshur, Lewis and Barbour counties in addition to its adult classes.
"This is the only pot of money we have available to do upgrades to the building is from the S-B-A, and we feel very fortunate receive this money. You know our goal is to provide a health and safe environment for our students and staff," said Mike Cutright, center director.
The upgrades should get started next summer before the students return back to classes.
