Santa Claus's overnight visit to North Central West Virginia is still more than a week away but he made several early stops in our area on Saturday.
His first stop was at Tygart Lake State Park in Taylor County to have some breakfast with some of his biggest fans.
The Boston Beanery hosted a breakfast buffet for children and their parents.
Santa's Breakfast Buffet is an annual event at Tygart Lake and more people continue to come out every year.
Santa didn't just stop at Tygart Lake, he also made an appearance in Jane Lew on Saturday.
Santa, his elves, and the Jane Lew Lions Club offered area kids the chance to meet the jolly old elf at the Jane Lew Community Center.
Kids and families enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa and took part in activities for all ages.
Parents said it's a great event for everyone.
"We try to find many family activities for the kids. There's five of them, all age groups from 18 to 6, so something like this, it's good to enjoy family fun," said Danny Bryant, Parent.
Santa will make at least one more appearance in Lewis County before Christmas time.
He'll be in downtown Weston on Main Street next Saturday.
