BRIDGEPORT -

Traffic was backed up for several minutes after a two car accident in Harrison County on Sunday.

It happened on Route 76 just a few minutes after 9 p.m., state police said.

A vehicle driven by Anna Marie Dannunzio of Clarksburg failed to yield the right away, and collided in t-bone manner with a vehicle driven by Jimmie Williamson of Flemington.

At least five girls in Dannunzio's car were taken by ambulance to United Hospital Center. All are listed in stable condition.

A passenger in Williamson's SUV was also transported.

The accident remains under investigation.

State Police said criminal charges are pending
