Struck Sunday Evening with wind gusts to 100 MPH.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tygart Lake is asking the community for live Christmas tree donations.
It kicked off its Christmas Tree Recycling Program last week.
Every tree that is donated will be anchored to cinder blocks along the shoreline of Tygart Lake in February when the lake level is low.
Concrete blocks will be tied to the Christmas trees to keep them on the bottom of the lake.
When the water rises in the spring, the trees will be completely underwater, creating a habitat for the fish.
The ACOE said Christmas tree habitat will improve fishing in the lake, as well as its structure.
In 2012, the ACOE added more than 400 trees to the marina.
Trees will be accepted until January 31 and can be dropped off at the Grafton City Garage below Bridge Street.
