When it comes down to describing the perfect sandwich, everyone has their own opinion.
"Cajun turkey, trail bologna. I get mine on wheat bread with mayo. Lettuce, tomato, and onion," said Ali Gross, Hermosilla's Deli Market.
"Mozzarella, salami on wheat or white bread and lettuce and Italian dressing," Aidan Gross added.
Hermosilla's Deli Market is a new kind of restaurant in Fairmont. It caught the communities attention the moment it opened its doors for the first time.
"From the moment that we put the open signs on and opened the doors our community, Fairmont has received us," said Dennis Hermosilla, owner.
Hermosilla's features fresh meats, fresh salad bar, fresh cheeses, and fresh pastries.
"You tell us exactly how you want your sandwich and what you want on it. We will slice it fresh. The slicers will slice everything fresh and then it goes into the sandwich makers and they will make it exactly how you want it," Hermosilla said. "it comes out fresh just like its made at home."
The most popular menu items are the two Italian sandwiches.
"We have a deluxe Italian and a regular Italian and they are really popular. A lot of people really like those," Ali Gross said.
If you like what you had for lunch, Hermosilla's has plenty for you to take home.
"I knew I wanted to do bulk sales and have the deli as a market part view of it. But if someone wanted a sandwich, I wanted to be able to make them sandwiches so if they could have a chance to try the meat, maybe they would come in and buy the meat and take it home to make sandwiches," Hermosilla said.
Hermosilla's is family owned and owners said Fairmont was the perfect place to open their business.
"You are supporting local business," Ali Gross said. "We have great, high quality products. One guy came in and actually said he can't go to Wendy's and feed his family of four cheaper then what he can feed his family here."
Hermosilla's Deli Market is located on Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
