LEWISBURG, WV -

Carnegie Hall's Mainstage Concert Season continues with a performance by Tom Hambridge at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in Lewisburg.

Hambridge, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer, has had more than 350 songs recorded by artists such as Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Susan Tedeschi, Delbert McClinton, BB King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, and Rascal Flatts. Joining him for an intimate evening of songs and stories will be George Teren and Kevin McKendree, a few of his Nashville friends whom he has partnered with over the years to write and produce an astonishing number of hits.

He began playing drums at the age of 5 and had his first paid performance when he was in the third grade. After high school, he was offered a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music. Hambridge continued to advance his musical career, releasing his first independent, self-produced album in 1988, earning him the first of many Boston Music Awards.

In 2008, he received Grammy nominations (Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album) for his work on Buddy Guy's "Skin Deep." In 2011, he won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album for co-writing and producing Guy's album "Living Proof." As a solo artist, he has released five critically acclaimed CD's. Hambridge's songs and productions have also appeared on a variety of television shows, movies and commercials.
