It was a rough night for one truck driver late Saturday night when 30,000 pounds of Hershey's kisses were scattered across the highway during an accident on Interstate 70.
A diesel truck hauling boxes full of dark chocolate kisses lost control near the Cabela's Drive exit, plowed through the guard rail and landed in the median. The truck and trailer were totaled, but the driver was not injured.
The truck took out 90 feet of guard rail and spilled around 100 gallons of fuel. Several exits were closed for most of Sunday morning as crews worked to clean up the fuel and kisses scattered across the road.
Crews were on the scene helping to clean up the mess and worked all morning and into the afternoon. The West Virginia department of Transpiration reminds all drivers to take it slow in winter weather.
