The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Adam Kline of Alderson Broaddus University the Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week after recording another pair of double-doubles last week.
Adam Kline has been named the G-MAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week as he helped the Battlers extend their winning streak to ten straight. Kline posted two more double-doubles in a pair of road wins at Central State and Cedarville to remain on top of the G-MAC standings.
In the two games, Kline averaged 15.0 points per game, shooting 52%, and 10 rebounds per game. In the win over Central State, he scored 12 points to go with 10 rebounds. He then followed that performance up with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Cedarville.
Kline ranks in the top ten nationally in NCAA Division II in rebounding and shooting percentage. As for conference ranks, Kline is tenth in scoring, but ranks first in rebounds with 11.3 rebounds per game, and in shooting percentage with a 68.8 shooting percentage. He also ranks second in blocked shots with 1.4 blocks a game.
The two double-doubles over the weekend give Kline a conference best 11 on the season - more than double the total of any other individual in the G-MAC. In each of the last six games, all conference games, he has recorded a double-double.
