A West Union man, who was out on bond accused of child abuse earlier this year, has landed himself back in jail Thursday.

Shane Willis, 26, faces new charges of domestic assault and battery, as well as animal cruelty.

Court documents filed by the West Union Police Department indicate that Willis choked a woman, threw her across a camper, and threatened to kill her.  Willis also is accused of picking up the woman's dog and throwing it across the camper.

Willis was out on bond after Doddridge County deputies said he abused two children back in January, choking one with a vacuum cleaner cord.

Willis is in the North Central Regional Jail.

The Doddridge County Sheriff's Department has arrested a West Union man and charged him with six counts of child abuse causing injury.

Shane Willis, 26, is accused of abusing two young children. The Doddridge County Sheriff's Department alleges that Willis abused the children on multiple occasions which included choking them, slamming one of the child against a wall, punching a child, and wrapping a vacuum cleaner cord around one of the children's neck.

Willis is being held in North Central Regional Jail on $60,000 bail.
