Marion County Child Advocacy Center to Host Inaugural 'Have a Heart' Benefit Dance and DInner

Posted: Updated:

What if you could have a romantic Valentine's Day and support a great cause at the same time?

The Marion County Child Advocacy Center will host its inaugural 'Have a Heart' benefit dance and dinner.

For $150 per couple, you'll enjoy a cocktail hour, dinner, and a live performance by the Skinny's.

Proceeds will benefit abused and neglected children the CAC helps daily.

"Especially on Valentine's Day, people don't really like to think about abused kids. We thought it would be an amazing time for people to have a great time and do a wonderful service for the children of Marion County," said Donna Blood, of the Marion County CAC.

The event will be held February 15th at FSU's Colebank Hall.

The Cocktail Social begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Elegant Dinner at 7 p.m. and the dance begins at 8 p.m.

Formal attire is suggested, black tie optional.

To purchase tickets, please call 304-333-3936 or visit the event's Facebook page.
